Preview of Today’s Supreme Court DOMA case
Amy Howe of SCOTUSblog has written a great preview of the constitutional challenges to the Defense of Marriage Act (or DOMA) being heard today in the Supreme Court in the case of United States v. Windsor (No.: 12-307). The article can be found at http://www.scotusblog.com/?p=161700.
The Court will hear oral argument this morning starting at 10 AM. At 2 PM today, the Court will publish an audio recording of the oral argument to http://www.supremecourt.gov/oral_arguments/argument_audio.aspx.
A decision is expected sometime towards the end of the Court’s term in June.
